Abbey Lay is honored to be part of her first IDT production and is excited to explore the world of drag while growing her experience in the performing arts. Sharing the stage with such talented and inspiring performers has been a dream come true. Abbey wants to thank her family and friends for their love, support, and encouragement, the directors for this incredible opportunity, and everyone who has made her first IDT appearance (and hopefully not her last!) such an amazing experience. She’s excited to begin this new journey and, most importantly, hopes you all enjoy the show!

ALICIA BROOKE (She/Her)
ENSEMBLE (TENOR)

Alicia Brooke is thrilled to be a part of Sweeney Todd: A Drag Parody Musical! This is Alicia’s second show at IDT, her first being Shrek where she played Pinocchio. Alicia has also been involved in many local productions, both on & off stage, most notably at The Booth Tarkington Civic Theater in Carmel, IN.  Alicia wants to thank everyone involved in this spectacular show for making this experience so memorable and fulfilling. She also would like to thank IDT as a whole for consistently creating a safe space for the local queer community to thrive and shine onstage. Alicia gives a big thank you to her friends & family for always supporting her in everything she does, and she can’t wait for you to see the show!

BEELZEBABE (He/Him)
SWEENEY TODD

The Handsome-Devil-in-Drag and Ring-Leader of the freak-show-cabaret KINKER! 

Beelzebabe has been a performer for over a decade. As a certified aerialist and instructor Beelzebabe loves to teach and showcase alongside his students on stage. As the Father of the Haus of Morningstar you can expect creative macabre performances from this King of Darkness. Beelzebabe offers true variety in all aspects of his craft. Freddie is a Bloomington based drag, burlesque, and pole artist. They are ecstatic to return to the IDT stage! You may have seen them as a little pig in IDT’s Shrek or doing burlesque to Veggie Tales at the Backdoor. She would like to thank her family and friends for their unwavering encouragement and support in her theater and drag ventures. Heather Bea has been seen on many mid-west stages. She is excited to be back at Indy Drag Theatre after appearing in Wicked, Little Mermaid, and Mean Queens. She is also fortunate enough to be the resident Blanche Deveraux with Picture It! Players and The Indy Golden Girls. Love and lashes!

ILANA A LA MODE (She/They)
BEGGAR WOMAN

Ilana is ecstatic to be making her return to the IDT stage in Sweeney Todd! Ilana has recently been onstage here at IDT as “Miss Norbury” in Mean Queens & “Ensemble/Tracy U/S” in Hairslay and at other theatres in “Xanadu” (Terpsicore), “Sweeney Todd” (Ensemble/Pirelli U/S), and “The Wild Party” (Ensemble). In her free time, she enjoys painting or drawing anytime inspiration strikes and cooking whatever is leftover in her fridge! She’d like to shout-out to her drag mothers Heather Bea and Lola Palooza for their love, guidance, and patience; Pink Slip for their continued patience in developing her “comedy”; her friends and family who are always there for her; and the entire cast & crew for making this a wonderful experience. Johnnee Crash is a versatile performer with a lifelong passion for the arts. He has performed in IDT productions such as The Little Mermaid, Chicago,  Mean Queens and Shrek. . He has worked backstage for Little Shop and Carrie. Johnnee was nominated in 2024 for Indiana Drag awards best drag king. KELSEY MCDANIEL (She/Her)

Kelsey is thrilled to finally be performing with IDT! She is a proud graduate of New York University where she earned a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance (she will be paying off her student debt until she is 80). NYC performing credits include: Good Morning America, Nine (Saraghina), Applause (Dance Captain), DAMNATION!: The Musical (Off...Off Broadway), and many shows  at The Green Room 42. Indy  credits include: Kinky Boots (Lauren), The Last 5 Years (Cathy), Spring Awakening (Wendla), Heathers (Veronica), and A Chorus Line (Sheila).  Later this year, you can catch her as The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Civic Theatre,  and creative directing HAIR with Fast Apple Artists. Kristen is honored to be making her drag debut with IDT! Her previous experience includes scaring people as a vampire and dancing as a giant clam at Universal Studios, FL. She would like to thank her castmates and creative team for making this experience truly spectacular. Miss Natalie Port-Ma’am  is so excited for her second show! She is extremely thankful to the cast and crew for taking a chance on the new girl in town! She’s ready to come out swinging, weaponizing her musical theater degree to fight back the forces of evil! She would like to thank all the poor unfortunate souls that put up with her for so long to get her to this point in her career! PARKER TAYLOR (He/Him)
ANTHONY HOPE

Parker is beyond thrilled to be playing another dream role in his favorite musical! Prior to this he starred as Seymour Krelborn in LITTLE SHOP OF WHORRORS with IDT. Tobias Ragg in SWEENEY TODD at Footlite Musicals, Ernst in SPRING AWAKENING at The District Theatre, and most recently Gabe in NEXT TO NORMAL! Parker studies at IUI downtown, runs a photography business, and choreographs locally! He hopes you walk in and out of this show with a great big smile on your face!! And that you love this spooky show as much as he does!!!

Samora Mie, co-host of Black Circle’s monthly Indy’s Got Talent Show, is thrilled and honored to return to the IDT stage. She’s so grateful for this production team and cast for creating such a loving, safe, creative space that has reinvigorated her love for drag. Since drag is the epitome of drama, it’s only right that we get to take center stage and make these stories our own. This opportunity has opened Samora’s eyes to so many possibilities, so hopefully you’ll be seeing Samora Mie soon. 

SENATOR GALE LAGATIONS (He/They)

Senator was in IDT’s Shrek, and now there is truly no hope of them ever getting rid of him. Shoutout to his therapist, his partner, and his little sister, all of which joined forces to hype up the unstoppable force of cringe and chaos that flows through his veins.
