Max Maneater (They/Them) is an Indianapolis-based entertainer who loves live theatre. On stage, Max is a neo-classic burlesque dancer and enthusiastic emcee; behind the curtain, Max produces variety shows to inject inspiration, sex positivity, and a few laughs into the Indianapolis nightlife scene by showcasing stellar entertainers from across the Midwest and beyond.

Max’s passion for creative collaboration led them to Indy Drag Theatre first as Jack in its 2022 production of Into the Woods and later as a member of the IDT Council (or board of dir. Or whatever we’re saying here). Experiencing the reimagination of tonedeaf classics into relatable, queer-centric stories is a journey of self-exploration, community appreciation, and an ignited creative potential that has inspired countless artists and audience members across the State. Max is honored to be a part of it.

When Max isn’t prepping for the next show, you’ll find them at home cuddling the cats.
